K-ETA electronic travel authorization

K-ETA is the Ministry of Justice pre-travel authorization for visa-waiver visitors. The official application-fee page states 10,000 KRW per person (about USD 7–8). An extra online payment processing charge of about 3% may apply. The fee is non-refundable even if the application is refused. Apply only at www.k-eta.go.kr or the official K-ETA app; third-party sites charge more for the same filing. Payment: VISA, Mastercard, JCB, AMEX, Diners Club, Discover, UnionPay or Alipay+. The Immigration Act Enforcement Rule (Art. 72 subpara. 1-2) also sets the pre-travel authorization fee at 10,000 KRW. The Korea Immigration Service office that handles K-ETA is at Gimpo International Airport.
