Huwon, the Secret Garden of Changdeokgung, is sold as a separate timed product. The official adult fee is 5,000 KRW (ages 19–64; ages 65+ pay the same 5,000 KRW). Youth ages 7–18 pay 2,500 KRW. There is no group discount. A palace-grounds ticket must also be purchased. Advance online reservations open at 10:00 six days before the visit date (excluding the visit day) and close the day before; same-day tickets are sold from 09:00. Capacity is limited. Culture Day and hanbok free-entry rules do not cover Huwon except for the garden’s own narrow free categories (e.g. ages 6 and under).
